Domaine Lois Louise Twisty Ridge comes from part of the Domaine Lois Louise that is above the fog line, enjoying chilled sunshine with glorious cool nights. As with past vintages, the 2009 Twisty Ridge is dark, tightly wound and thought-provoking. Aromas include blackberries, raspberries and anise. On the palate, the flavors are intense and concentrated, with black fruit, earth, slate and firm, galvanizing tannins. With its great concentration, powerful structure and minerality, this Pinot should continue to improve and evolve over the next decade.

The perfect complement to such a complicated wine is the Piave Vecchio – deliciously simple, its crystalline softness just leads you to enjoy the next bite and sip.
